Quality & Integrity
The Mifflin and Juniata County Builders Association, Inc. (MJBA),
is a non-profit association whose members are professionals in the construction industry and is affiliated with the Pennsylvania Builder Association and the National Association of Home Builders. Home builders, remodelers, tradesmen (HVAC, plumbers, electricians, etc.), suppliers and those who provide services to the building industry
make up the association's membership.
To encourage quality and integrity in the local building industry,
the association has voluntarily adopted a Contractor's Quality Commitment Program (CQC), a program that is endorsed by the Pennsylvania Builders Association. All members of the association
must satisfy the CQC requirements consisting performance standards,
a Code of Ethics, proof of liability and workers compensation insurance, as well as be in good credit and ethical standings among the local building community. The CQC program gives the housing consumer another measure of confidence when choosing to do business with a member
of the Mifflin Juniata County Builders Association.
